The Tiny Speck and the Giant Tree is an adaptation of Matthew 7.1-5
Don’t find fault in others and your own faults won’t be brought up. For in the same way that you search out stuff to be offended by, offensive stuff will be found in you. Trawl through everything someone ever did, everything you ever did gets checked out too.
Why are you looking at what’s a tiny speck in your neighbour’s eye and paying no attention to the giant oak tree in yours? How can you say to your neighbour: ‘Hey, let me help you with that dust in your eye,’ when there’s this huge tree in yours? You fake, first get that tree out of your own eye and then you’ll be able to see well enough to find the tiny speck.
